It seems like parking rules are only randomly enforced. CoD sure rushed to ticket my car parked in front of my own house but opposite the flow of traffic. They made my neighbor remove her car from the street because she wasn’t driving regularly due to health issues. The corner house on Lansdowne at Devonshire has had a non drivable pickup in the back yard with an expired tag 4 years out of date in March but codes won’t enforce what is clearly stated on the web site.
No support of enforcing the rule breakers.
Still no activity. I think no one at COD checks this site for follow up. They just “assign” the complaint to someone and poof it’s gone.
Just to see if you do follow up - City ordinance section 98-5 clearly states that any vehicle that cannot be driven under its own power cannot be left on the street for more than 24 hours.
It’s been 150+ days. That’s 3,600 hours.
I’ve copied the ordinance here for your reference. It is on the CoD web site.
Sec. 98-5. - Inoperable motor vehicles.

No owner or person having right of possession of a motor vehicle shall allow such motor vehicle to remain parked on a public street, public street right-of-way or public property for a period exceeding 24 hours if such motor vehicle is inoperable. For the purposes of this section, an inoperable motor vehicle shall mean one that is incapable of being moved under its own power, is in a state of disrepair which makes it unsafe to operate upon a public street or has one or more flat tires.
Six months later it’s still there.
I swear no one from the city checks this web site, much less actually follow up and correct the issues.
Please, prove me wrong.

This is becoming the norm for anything reported on SeeClickFix.

This web site is bogus. This issue was reported in September.
