Trying to get in and out of the Trask Middle school during morning drop off is a nightmare! Traffic is backed up sometimes all the way to Murrayville Rd. There is two ways to get into Trask and Laney but only one way out of there. I have seen parents dropping their children off on College Rd (away from the crossing guard) as to avoid this congestion. Also, with the one line of traffic coming out of Laney, cars can not see to cross into Trask school. Cars, busses and even police officers block the entrance so others can not turn which causes even more delays. I have complained to the school, the PTA association, as well as NHC schools about this problem to no avail. This is not only a traffic issue, but a safety issue as well. The DOT needs to be involved with this and there needs to be a restructuring of the traffic design before someone really gets hurt! At least for now, involve the local sherrif department to help direct traffic!
