It really is extraordinarily inefficient to have the pedestrian signal for crossing Grove St. (on the east side) change from Walk to Don't Walk, only to have it flash back to Walk once traffic stops flowing up Church. One-way streets plus no turn on red means that there is a whole chunk of time in each light cycle that pedestrians could be walking, but are stopped. (That was a terrible explanation, but the link makes the problem clear.)
Apologies if this gets double-posted, but my original comment seems to have disappeared. Thanks for looking into this. Any resolution on the related pedestrian signal issue at this intersection?
It would be great to get the signals adjusted to allow for additional pedestrian walk-time. As it is, many pedestrians see the red light stopping one-way traffic coming down Grove street, see the "DON'T WALK" sign across the street, shrug, and cross anyway.

Thanks! While you're looking at this intersection, has there been any resolution on this related issue that was raised almost a year ago?
