Thanks for the feedback Anthony. The request for a noise ordinance stems from the conversion of a beautiful single home to an apartment house. Six unrelated parties are living in a 3,000sq ft +- home with a carriage house. They've had parties that resulted in the entire street being parked solid with music that can be heard for several blocks. The last fiasco was July 4th weekend when they had a porta potty and two blow up moon bounces. It's unfortunate they are the only disruptive influence in the neighborhood. Are you a neighbor in the Lansdowne Ave, Albemarle, Owen Ave area? You have to live close to these yahoos to really appreciate my request for a noise ord. I did follow-up with the Borough. There was unrelated action taken by the Borough as the result of a lack of a rental inspection at the time of purchase of this disruptive property.

I live on the other side of Marshall and walk my dog daily in the area. I always wondered what that was. There's a huge driveway with a huge garage...and what looks like a studio size apartment attached to it. I've never heard any noise but always assumes it belonged to one of the houses next to it.

HI Anthony. The large parking lot is where most of the noise is created so I can only guess that your shielded by the house and distance. For those of us living in the Owen/Albemarle side of the disturbance it sounds like their sitting on my deck. The parties they have had resulted in both sides of Albemarle and part of Owen being parked solid.

It's still ashame this lovely signle home is being used as an apartment house. Homes in the area are selling in the mid 200's to 300K. I don't know whta the reneters pay but I'm sure it's not the same as mortgage payment on a 250K house.

Seriously, Lansdowne is already the most boring town on the face of the earth, does it really need a noise ordinance to make absolutely sure nothing fun ever happens again?

I would suggest you move and take the buffons that belong in Darby with you

Borough governemnt will not support another ordinance. Current ordinance requires residents to call police which in turn will start the Disorderly Property ordinancee to kick in
