Description

There are abandoned open containers of used hazardous waste along the creek in the Burlington coat factory parking lot. Along side the creek closer to the Shadowridge creek. One is open getting ready to dump down the hill they are on into the creek. They look like used motor oil in big water containers. I'm so afraid they will fall in the creek and kill the fish in the waterway. Since one is fully open. Also there's enough trash thrown on the side of this important creek waterway and inside it to kill and choke off any life in there. I've cleaned that whole creek out before on creek cleanup day with the I love a clean San Diego. That's only one day a year. Why can't a task force go in the rest of the year to keep up with the cleanup? Its awful and makes our community go way downhill in its environmental health. Thank you for a timely response.
