Description
While stopped at the stop sign on Fern Ct, we are unable to clearly see on-coming traffic at the intersection of Forest View and Fern Ct. Initially, a stonewall prevents a clear view of any traffic coming down the hill, which has the right of way. Currently, the stonewall and parked cars are making it more difficult. Should the stop sign be located on Forest View at this intersection? Please advise. It's a very hazardous set-up.

The Town of Hillsborough has been notified and put on notice about the hazardous condition at this intersection, and to date the hazard condition still exists.
I received a call from Kathy. She mentioned she was assigned to evaluate the intersections. Unfortunately, she told me that she was given that assignment the day before her employment ended with the Town. I haven't heard back from anyone and the situation remain the same. Why are you closing an issue that remains hazardous?

Natalie Asai wote on 3/20/2020 : " I met with the Streets Department to discuss restriping and potentially move or shift the limit line as appropriate, potentially 6”. I met with the Streets Department on site last week and we determined that the limit line will be restriped, and shifted slightly on one end, maybe a few inches, to straighten it out. This work will be completed within the next few weeks."
The restriping isn't done. Also, a warning to people traveling on Forest View, According to the Engineering Dept and HPD, vehicles coming out of Fern Ct and onto Forest View are allowed to pull forward with their front tires on top of the stop sign limit line, which projects the front of the Fern ct vehicle onto Forest View without any liability concerns because cars on Forest View are not allow to be in the unmarked "travel way" or what might be considered the Forest View shoulder . Seriously, I have this information in writing from both the Engineering Dept and HPD. In other words, if you hit the front of my car because I couldn't see you and you weren't expecting me to pop out of Fern Ct and onto the "travel way" of Forest View - HPD will find you at fault. I requested the stone wall that's blocking the view from behind the stop sign limit line on Fern Ct be removed or lowered and the result was to push up the limit line and place the Fern Ct vehicles into the "traveled way" on Forest View.
