Thanks for your reply to this citizen's report, 311, but there's no mention of "non-metallic bicycles" in the report, hence it's very possible that's not the issue, and your mention that "it's not a common maintenance procedure" goes against city policy for streets/intersection designated as bike facilities. Thus your reply/closure is factually wrong and against policy. Please correct for this and other related reports, both in terms of response here and, more importantly, on our bike designated roadways/intersections. Thank you.

I can confirm that my bicycle is made of metal and does not trigger this loop detector.

I am confirming that this report was not about a non-metallic bicycle. My bicycle is heavy steel and riding over or rolling my bicycle back and forth over the sensor does not trigger the light.
