Thank you for your inquiry. The Town Hall Parking Lot is being used for a pre-planned community event taking place today. A notice regarding this event was sent out via email (you need to sign up for notices via the Town website) and is posted on the Town website.

I just went to the town calendar and only event posted is Silver Sneakers at the community center. How about posting the link to the event?

As previously stated, the Town Hall Municipal Parking Lot on the north side of 93rd Street was temporarily closed last week for The Shul’s Annual Chanukah Community Party. A notice regarding the parking lot closure for this pre-planned event was distributed via email and posted to the Town website.

The Town of Surfside required The Shul to pull a special events permit, which was approved. The Shul was required to pay all applicable fees including use of the Town Hall Municipal Parking Lot, as well as for personnel and services including police offers, code enforcement, parking enforcement and public works.
