The JCMUA is not responsible for the grading of the streets. this complaint is being forwarded to Jersey City Engineering Department

This is not resolved. It always flooded here when the Hartz Chemical Factory was there. It has been made worse because Fields/Katerra graded Sussex west of Van Vorst higher than it was so that Sussex now is as high as what was the 3 or 4 foot raised football field belonging to St. Peter's. It needs to be regraded. Ice in winter. Mosquitoes in summer. The city should force Fields/Katerra to regrade the road. I'm sure they were given a permit to grade it up 4 feet. They should fix it now.

This is still not resolved. Is it the responsibility of the Lennox Apartments? I doubt it because it's not on their sidewalk but is across the street on the northern side of the block. To whom do I report this? Thank you.

We have been in discussion with the developer who have designed plans to address this issues. They were waiting on the warmer weather to be able to pave and add drainage inlets, which can now be done. I have reached out and asked for a date we can expect this work to take place. I will update when I receive this info. Thanks.

That's very good news! The mosquito season is hard upon us and with all the rain these past few weeks, the puddles are constantly with us. I await to learn about the date they will begin.

Thanks for making the needed corrections! It is the first time those corners have drained properly since I moved her in 1999!
