Description
Something is wrong with this traffic light timing. It is only allowing cars to go through on green for 10 seconds. Counted the 10 seconds on my watch.

yesd,
We need to know which approach (Peachtree Road NB, SB, left turn? Dresden Dr EB, WB?) and what time of day the issue was observed.

This is a duplicate of issue #489817 which I reported on 4/25/13. Heading north on Apple Valley Rd in the afternoon rush hour (4-6pm) waiting for a left turn on Dresden heading towards Peachtree is the main problem. Each time a northbound train drops off a bunch of riders that center lane backs up to the condos or even to the MARTA parking lot entrance. I've timed the green light at 12 secs - still not long enough since we also have to wait for cars coming straight across Apple Valley Rd. Some times only 1-2 cars can make the left turn before the light changes. Often our light turns red and there are only 2-3 cars on Dresden waiting...you could easily make this light 20-30 secs long (just from 4-6pm) without causing significant delays on Dresden.

The timing of this signal is maintained by GDOT under the Regional Traffic Operations Program (RTOP) and is part of the Peachtree Rd Corridor. This corridor is actively managed and visited by an engineer on a weekly or more basis to monitor traffic and make timing adjustments as necessary. Since this issue was reported, the RTOP manager has made several timing adjustments to this signal.
Thanks
