Description
Multiple slash pines were cut down at the three-story house under construction on Seaview Circle. From the public information available on the property's appraiser's website, it appears that most, if not all, of these trees were in a designated Conservation Easement. If, as I assume, these trees were cut down illegally, I hope that the county will require replanting in addition to a fine. A fine may be punitive, but does nothing to correct the removal of this important element of the Conservation Easement, which is the purpose of creating the Conservation Easement in the first place.
