Description

There is an construction project taking place at the main library. The sidewalk is roped off but there is no safe place for people to get around this project. Cars and what appears as a work truck are parked right in front of the construction. I had to walk my son twice along parked in the street to get around it; the second time an elder woman who told me she can’t see well walked after us since I wanted her to guide her safely. I understand projects require sidewalks to be roped off, but this is very dangerous especially if a family had a stroller and trying to navigate between cars and in traffic. Please make no parking space on the street to provide for pedestrians to walk in/around such a well traveled pedestrian destination. This walking space should also have cones to show safe passage.
