This issue is not ok church st. It is on Durso Ave. The wood not recognize durso ave.

Parking enforcement is still on the street citing those who didn't comply with the winter parking regulations. The city does not tow unless the DPW determines they are unable to plow the street without removal. Somewhat will be at Church Street shortly.

This is not on church st, this is on Durso Ave. If a plow cannot make it down the street like last night then why were the vehicles not towed at that point? Additionally, I'd like to see a salt/sand truck come down the street, or better yet a piece of emergency apparatus.

Furthermore, if the city does not tow a vehicle during winter parking for parking on the wrong side of the street, what's the point of winter parking? You can call a snow emergency and clear the roads then allow the vehicles back to park on one side or another.

It just baffles my mind the answers I get sometimes from the city....

Thanks for the clarification. We were thrown off a bit by the address being listed as 16 to 18 Church Street in the request, which resulted in us responding to 16 to 18 Church Street. With this posting clarifying that the address wasn't correct as posted, we will check Durso Ave.

The point of winter parking regulations is to help the DPW with better access to the streets when snow arrives. Every storm, some residents don't comply, whether intentionally or not. So long as the DPW can still plow the street, the fine is a ticket. If the vehicle impeded street access (as judged by the DPW), the vehicle can be towed. We will check with the DPW and also check the street itself to see if further action is warranted.

Note that we did not declare a snow emergency.
