There is an obvious presence of gang activity in West Rogers Park. Just removing the gang signs is NOT ENOUGH! As a taxpayer, it is not my responsibility to constantly undo the damage the gangs do,
What we need are arrests of gang members with harsh punishments including forcing the gangs to clean up their own mess. Gang leraders need to be made personally responsible for the damage their members do to the public domain.
I hold the police, the courts and the mayor responsible for maintaining law and order. If they are not up to the job of intimidating the intimidators, these public positions need to be replaced with individuals who are up to the job they are paid to do.
The streets belong to the taxpayers and NOT the gangs!
