It is next to impossible to get across the street while in a roundabout. I thought it was a NYS law to stop for pedestrians in Crosswalks.

Cars do not stop for pedestrians in any of the roundabouts in Malta

I have come been close to being killed numerous times in the rt 9 roundabout in Malta. Interesting the state police do not enforce the law of stopping for pedestrians in a crosswalk and there station is less then a 1/4 miles away!
There are also no signs posted that say stop for pedestrians in crosswalks like so many crosswalks have.
