Kids waiting for the Bates Elementary bus are supposed to stand in the median across from Ziggy's Donuts. It was completely covered in snow this morning- in the far right side of the photo (taken at 7:15 AM on 3/5) you can see the pole with the walk signal button. Kids had nowhere to stand because the snow was feet deep and so were standing in the street which had a layer of ice. It was a skating rink, and several kids slipped as cars zipped by. Who is responsible for clearing snow from this bus stop? I would guess the city because it's a median. Thank you!
