I keep checking on it and the hole went from being covered to being completely open. I can look down into the hole and see where it continues to open up. I have also taken pictures to monitor it as it continues to open. With rain in the forecast, the high useage of the alley and the fact that our trash gets picked it in the alley I worry about people safety.
WPC has investigated the void and found the city's sewer line will need to be televised to determine if it is a city problem or a private service line. The alley will need to be closed at this time to allow time for the TV crew to get there. I am extending the completion date out to allow for this.
Any updates? I’m not trying to be a pain but the sink hole with the signs and cones are making it difficult to get into our driveway and garage. And kids that walk through the alley from school have been messing with the signs and cones.
