Description

Water, ditch digging and installation of a culvert by Metro Public Works have crumbled the asphalt in front of the driveway on heavily traveled Haywood Lane at Hopedale. This is damaging tires, alighment and some bumpers drag.
Metro is well aware of the problem as we've called several departments several times and been promised repair for months.
Recently we were told repairs were completed. Not true!
Nothing has been done.
If this doesn't get some action, That's Messed UP on Channel 2 is next.

The homeowners called the number I gave them from SeeClickFix. Someone said they would come look at it, but the family has seen or heard nothing since. I will take a picture today. I was mistaken that a culvert was installed. The big ditches on either side have been stopped up for a long time causing storm water to rush over the driveway. After numerous calls and the runaround, the ditches on both sides were cleaned and dug out months ago, but equipment made the pavement damage even worse. Getting the mail is not easy and dangerous if someone fell into the constant rapid traffic on the steep hill.

A work order has been issued to ramp in the driveway entrance at 371 Haywood Lane.

I have not seen it yet, but have heard tar and gravel have patched the asphalt. Its been months of stalling and passing the buck, but SeeClickFix got it done. THANKS!
