Description
This problems drawn on for several years. standing water coming from the storm drain pipe.
last 2 attempts to fix it caused even more of a problem.
Water cannot run up hill nor will putting barriers in the way like the last attempt help the flow.
So far all that's been done is waste taxpayers money to no avail.

Is there going to be any action taken to fix this issue?

Why didn't he contact me to discuss?
I wish I worked for the government so I can waste taxpayers time and money and not fix issues. Private sector would get replaced doing work like this.
Here's the thing....
Water does not run up hill any kid playing in a mud puddle knows that.
How about we get some commissioners and media out there to take a look?
Not looking for every drop simply want it to be running downhill like it used to before you guys screwed it up.

Pinellas County Public Works – Stormwater, Urban Forestry, Landscape Svcs & Vegetation Maintenance (Verified Official)
Pinellas County Public Works Stormwater Operations will continue to address the drainage concerns in this area. A maintenance crew will be making additional cuts to deepen the ditch line from the pipe so water has an extended flow line. This includes but not limited to; removing the existing concrete rubble from its current location, cutting the ditch down below the pipe, and re-doing flow line. The concrete rubble will be positioned along the ditch banksides and bottom, to help prevent vegetation from washing away and causing future erosion. The additional planned maintenance should improve ditch flow, help alleviate pooling and standing water, that created a mosquito breeding ground in this location.
If you may have additional questions or concerns please contact our Customer Service Department at (727) 464-8900 or via email at publicworks@pinellascounty.org and reference the work request number #1835834.
