Water company just fixed water leak on neighbors meter. Stated it been leaking for sometime and was part of the reason the curb along my property disintegrated.
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The curb and gutter adjacent to your property has recently been evaluated and is now slated for replacement. The curb and gutter replacement program currently suffers an extensive backlog and repairs are generally completed in the order in which they are received.
To City of Topeka. Should this be reclassified as a street repair and/or follow up to water meter leak. Crazy they have to wait until 2023 when this was first reported in 2019.

The city funds a curb replacement program each year and curbs are replaced based on when the request was received (each year we start with the oldest request). There is currently a significant backlog and it may be several years before we are able to address the curb at your property.
