now the willows that were low enough so someone parked in a car could watch the marsh, now they have grown up so much that no one in a car can see the marsh any more. they should be cut lower, not removed, but low enough so people can watch the marsh.

Tim, perhaps you can reconcile yourself to the fact that it will be as it is.

perhaps i cannot. why should i? why should i and others have to look through a chain-link fence? who are you to say it will be as it is? are you in charge now? in addition, by now the shrubbery has grown up to the level that no one sitting in a car can even look through the fence at the marsh at all. I have been sitting there often in my truck since 2011. it is my peaceful, writing and reading place. i watch the wildlife and saved the life of a cat a couple of years ago, that had gotten stuck in a tree. nobody else saw it and reported it. this is the first year that the marsh is not visible at all, except for a little slice where the path is. what is the justification for this? not cutting shrubbery? it does not need to be removed, only lowered; it will thrive anyway. i told you about this a few days ago. you did not see the importance of being able to see the marsh from a car, said i could walk down to the edge of the water and sit on something there. how many people can fit down there? how well will that work on a rainy day? sorry, but the fence still needs to be removed and the shrubbery now needs to be lowered. it is wonderful that we have very good wildlife photographers who come out and sit at the waters' edge and take videos and photos. i have always supported them, and your efforts to remove invasive plants. i have often picked up trash. i would like to sit in my truck and look out unobstructed at the marsh, as i did from 2011 to 2018.

in addition, i pay my taxes and i have lived on the edge of the park since 1996, in warrendale since 1980.
