Ha the treatment plant has smelled for 27 years!

It's interesting others call it a "chemical smell". I have said that many times too

I have smelled the regular odor for years. This new chemical smell is different, that's why I was asking if they had begun testing their new solution.

The only change at the WWTP has been the addition of a citrus based misting product used at the biosolids digester. This has been in place since December 2018 and has an orange smell.
