Still waiting on news about a repair here, the sidewalk in front of my house is defective, I've been reporting it for years. As it continues to sink, water, sleet, ice and snow pile up and make the sidewalk uncrossable. Pedestrians walk into the street to skirt around the water. This photo is from last night when the water was about 5" deep. The water is causing problems on my property and affecting the foundation of my house. It all started when the "bump-out" was added and was much higher than the existing sidewalk. This causes water to accumulate instead of heading toward the curb and drains. This needs to be addressed!
