I've almost been hit twice in the past 2 months, because other drivers do NOT pay attention to the YIELD signs. The city/state needs to make them bigger or more visible -somehow....That and other drivers really need to pay attention.

look if ur really going ot make a stink out of it i belive the on ramp from east bound 3 to north 202 is backwards people turning across 3 to come up the ramp should have to yield and let the people who are on the right side of the road go. Im also a voulenteer firefighter and running my lights up there to go get to my station ive almost been hit and have had people spin tires to cross 3 and try to beat me to the ramp and i have to stop. Im running lights to go act in an emergency manner, if i was in a cop car with lights and siren or in the fire engine lights and siren would i be raced up the ramp???? Absolutly would be raced up because everyone thinks there first. im not saying I agree or disagree with the yield i understand the reason behind them but at least let the person who could possibly risking their life to save ur family get priority. If anyone wants to say something back please do.

It is worst when you have cars exiting 202 north on to rt 3 east. Those cars come off the ramp at 50-60 and do not slow down at all. i have almost been hit there numerous times.

It doesn't atter how big you make the sign, people have a sense of entitlement these days. They don't think any sign or law applies to them and that the whole world should stop or step aside just for them. The police need to start enforcing the traffic laws and when it starts costing them money maybe they'll think.

people need to yield but not STOP. it's those people who stop who cause accidents...there's a run on lane for a reason--USE IT

p-you would want people to yield to the blue lights on volunteer firefighters' vehicles if your house was on fire. But I agree. Many of the problems on this board would not exist if drivers had a little decency and gave others some consideration. It wouldn't cost anything and stress levels would go down considerably. Ed.

Agree - please fix this. It's very dangerous. Those not yielding don't realize that they were supposed to yield - and get very aggressive while on 202.

To Firefighter, Thanks for putting your life on the line to save people like me and my family. I do believe that no matter how large sign, they will not stop. I do also think maybe a sign on each side of the road will make more visibility, then its up to the driver to read and obey.

Making the signs bigger will not solve the problem. And the problem is not just at this location. The police need to enforce the law on the yield signs everywhere.

YIELD - not STOP (Panauhin)

There is a difference between YIELD and STOP - what I've noticed is a lot of people think they have to stop in order to merge onto Rt 3 - wrong - there is plenty of available merge lane. If you can't look over your left sholder to see if there is oncoming traffic, maybe you shold not be driving.

I have almost been hit 3 times in the past few months because of this. The yield sign is not reversed, it is simply set up that way so traffic crossing the intersection does not get backed up.
