Thank you for your A2 Fix It request, #359407. Your request is important to us and will be prioritized and addressed based on the overall availability of city resources. Please note: If the nature of your request is urgent, such as water emergencies, please check http://www.a2gov.org/a2fixit for phone numbers to contact us. A2 Fix It is for non-urgent, non-emergency issues and is monitored during weekday business hours only. Your patience is appreciated.
Drain silt cover is still in place as of May 7. Multiple posts on this.
Whose responsibility?
*If contractor for last year lock payments and boot their vehicles
*If city of AA, send someone out
If you want vigilante response, I can cut the silt cover with a saw or knife but this will only be partially effective and will lead to “silt-cover-strips” being washed downstream..
PLEASE response with an action plan rather than a BS automated response.
Silt trap is still in place and blocking the sewer. This was first reported last fall. It has been reported multiple times this spring. This morning a neighbor walking down McGregor had to walk on the lawn extension to avoid the flooded street.
WHEN IS THE CITY GOING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS???!!!???
Completion of last summer's road repaving on Wynnstone, etc means that both city and contractor crews who can remove the silt trap are currently in the neighborhood.
THERE IS NO LONGER ANY EXCUSE!!!
PLEASE FIX IT!
Many thanks. Issue was addressed yesterday morning. Maybe I should have used all CAPS earlier. Although in all likelihood, other folks were calling rather than using A2Fixit. Regardless, the silt trap has been removed and the city inspected /pumped the storm drain basin.
Your request has been acknowledged and/or addressed to the best of staff's ability. A more detailed description of action taken by staff, if available, is provided in the comments above. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
