There was nothing but chaos on the bus, from the moment that she picked me up at 34th & MLK. She had other Patrons screaming and yelling at her, and at each other. There were a couple of fights that almost broke out on the bus. The Driver was so empathetic and really trying her best to keep everyone calm. She was really showing sincere concern and she was very caring. There was a female patron that had made a really derogatory remark about the bad incident that had happened over to the weekend. I do not know if the Driver heard the comment, but if she did I know that it was very disturbing. This Driver really kept it together. I know that if it was me at the wheel I do not think that I would have been able to keep it together like she did. I saw her later on that day on her return trip, and I know that she was really frustrated but she still did her job and handle the entire situation very Professional. I do not want her Calm, Caring and Professional work ethics to go unnoticed. She is A1 on my list of Drivers.
I have been riding HART buses forever and regularly. I am sure that there are other drivers that are doing their job very well. I really appreciate HART as a whole. Again, I do not want her Professional actions to go unnoticed, and I cannot express how much I greatly appreciate her Professionalism in a hectic situation while getting everyone to their destination safely.
