Since being notified, the property owner did apply for a zoning permit and the permit was denied. They have until next Thursday to appeal the denial of the zoning permit by filing for a variance to the zoning code. If they do not file the appeal, they will be ordered to remove the structure.

The owner did not apply for the variance by the deadline. They have been sent a notice to remove the structure.
The BZA has a regular meeting schedule which can be found here: https://wilmingtonoh.org/government/boards-commissions/board-zoning-appeals/.
Agendas are usually posted the week prior to the meeting. Meeting notices are published in the Wilmington News Journal as well. In addition, adjacent property owners are mailed meeting notices when their neighbor requests a variance. You can also call the office 937-382-5134.
