Description
In late afternoon or early evening on Holiday, off Bob Wallace, several of the old concrete speed bumps are almost completely shaded by trees, and the combination of shade and dappled light through the trees effectively camouflages the speed bumps entirely, making them impossible to see until a driver is ON them. So in the afternoons (when kids are getting out of school) the bumps do not act as speed deterrents because driver's aren't seeing them. The older style bumps only have a faded white arrow on each side, which gets washed out totally in the afternoon shading. Can these EITHER be repainted in some way that makes the bumps more prominent, or replaced with the newer black rubber ones that are used, for instance, over on Hillsboro?
