There's a big 18 wheel truck idling. 9:03 am and passed it again still idling at 9:12 am today. Blue. Said "Emlen" on the side. Right between the two buildings that belong to Astra Foods, next to the eastern of the two buildings. Got a pic, will try to upload it later.

This is an ongoing, recurrent problem. It never gets "fixed," it occurs again and again with different trucks and different drivers on different days.
This specific truck is long gone, but it's replaced frequently with others.

Clean Air Council monitors idling hotspots through this website application. The Council is working with Air Management Services and the Parking Authority to address these worst locations by targeting their enforcement efforts appropriately. Is there a specific time of day or day of the week that these trucks are idling?

I just realized your location is outside Philadelphia's boundary. Air Management Services and the Philadelphia Parking Authority can only enforce idling inside Philadelphia. However, there is a state law banning idling that local police can enforce. Try contacting the Upper Darby Police next time you see idling here. I will try to contact Astra Foods to alert them of the law.
