The Pave pathway is being cut back, ongoing efforts to prune paths on PBT are ongoing as time allows.

The paved pathways on Patuxent branch trail are being cut back as time allows

I use this trail frequently as a walker and would like to add my concern for the overgrowth along the path. In several areas one is forced into the growth when giving way to bikers or runners, as the growth hangs over the path narrowing the clear area to walk. In light of the concern for lyme disease, and knowing that ticks are prevalent, it would be prudent for the county to mow this area. It seems to me this is a public health issue.

This issue should not be placed in the closed folder, as it needs to be maintained for everyone's safety.

The path has been pruned back open or closed it's completed thank you for your concern.
