I actually called 911 last week from the parking garage. I have complained multiple times and nothing is being done. Who else can we go to get this resolved????

We have been urging NJ Transit/HBLR to repair the signal as this intersection is owned and maintained by NJ Transit.

What is the solution if NJ Transit refuses to repair? Besides the inconvenience, it becomes dangerous. Is Jersey City Police aware? There needs to be someone directing traffic until this is resolved.

I agree completely with this issue and Adam's idea about having someone directing traffic until NJ Transit gets this fixed is a good one. Typically the most traffic is from around 4:30 to 5:30 so a cop would only need to be there for an hour

Just logged in to report this. Sat for a full 5 minutes waiting to move. Watched a pedestrian trying to cross. Light changes, and everyone slams on their accelerator to try to get through the light as they know how short it is. My Uber driver almost got T-boned this way, as someone trying to turn left hit the gas HARD. Waiting for NJ Transit is unacceptable. This issue has been happening on-and-off for MONTHS now. Please advise as to how the city is holding NJT accountable/how we the citizens can best help by writing/calling NJT? Thank you.
