This is an adaptive traffic signal, meaning it detects cars present and responds accordingly. For example, if there is very heavy traffic on Pontiac Lake, and very light traffic on Cass Lake Road, it will give longer green time to Pontiac Lake. We checked the equipment and confirmed it is working properly.
