Description

2319 is an Abandoned Building Collapsing onto adjoining resident at 2317 W. Turner Street. The Senior Citizens living in 2317 are at imminent danger with the build up of mold and Structural corrosion.

A city contractor has looked at the house of 2317 W. Turner Street 8/15 that is in danger of collapsing due to the vacant, ababdoned and collapsing building at 2319 W. Turner Street and advised there is considerable damage, rotting beams, fungis, harmful agents and work is needed as soon as possible as the residents house at 2317 could collapse at any time from the damage and fallen tree. The contractor advised that work can not start until the City of Philadelphia has provided the go ahead for the work to begin and so far, there has not been any further updates. This issue is obviously critical and definitely a danger to the senior citzens living in the home.

Can someone please advise Mr. Roscoe Hicks-(215-771-7137/215-769-0524) what is needed in order to receive help.

The issue has not been resolved. Seeking counsel as the city has been negligent in helping to get this case resolved. This will be the cities fault as well as its contractors for any seriousness or deaths. This is tragic and inexcusable. There has not been any activity or help to resolve after repeated pleas to help.

this was not handled properly and there are still a considerable amount of damages and no return responses for the senior citzens who live in this residence. at this point in time legal action should be considered.

This was not handled properly and there is still considerable damage to the property. The senior citizens who live in the home are not getting any response from the city. At this point in time I think legal action is overdue.

The city did not response was very poor, this site is useless and its a shame attention will only be given in "accidental" death. Continue to do whatever you want, close or leave open, situation remains the same. Poor!

Issue has still not been resolved! The that was done by Walter Mangual was hired to do from the city expedited the worsening conditions to the senior citizens home!!! The property is literally falling apart, infested with mice, roaches and waterbugs!! The seniors have no money and no place to go!! Is this how this link help!!!!!!!!! This is horrible!!! Then to find out that Walter Mangual has a list of complaints and lawsuits for damaging properties and not fixing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the purpose of this site! No response. At this point its just for sake of tracking purposes to see how long this will stay open and to report the obituaries of the seniors living in a shell that once was a house destroyed by the city. Thanks for nothing.
