My family and I visited your beautiful beach this Sunday. Thank you for making it open to us. But a terrific day at the beach was soured by the environmental protester procession that wen through over the course of a couple of hours. I'm all for freedom of speech, but this was inappropriate. I have young children, and these protesters were dressed in all black, carrying signs that read of impending world doom and death, carrying black coffins on the beach. My children were confused and distraught. We care about the environment, but scaring children on the beach is not a great way to deliver a message.
