Flooding in streets where there was never flooding before.

Q. Please describe the issue.
A. After the recent enhancements to curbs and pavement on 54th St. N. & 54th Way N. from 94th Ave. South to Skyview Pool, there are areas flooding now that never flooded before. Specifically the 9300 Block of 54th St., the water crosses the road and floods the road. That never happened before the "upgrade". It's been happening regularly during the recent storms. Residents were told that curbs were out of code, but 54th St. and 54th Way were the only ones completed. So, why is there flooding now that never existed before? Somebody needs to address the substandard job the contractor did to our streets. Should I expect not be able to access my home when I have never had a problem in the 30+ years I've lived there? Also, the street drainage enhancements near Skyview Pool are also a fail. I hope Pinellas Park gets their money back for the substandard work. Maybe there is a reason no other streets were completed to be brought into "code".
