Garfield needs a passing lane here. Alot of people make left turns into Northport Apts and traffic is bad all the time here. It would help keep the flow of traffic since it's only one lane

Problem is, I have been told by macomd road commission is that the cost is for the appartment and trailer to pay for, so doubt it will get done without some pressure.

I agree this needs a passing lane. However it seems a bit strange that they would say it was the responsibility of the apt/trailer park as Garfield is not public, not private road.
If a subdivision is off of, say 22 mile road, the homeowners aren't responsible for paving, upkeep, snow removal of 22 mile...they're only responsible for the roads within their sub (or in some cases their sub roads are under jurisdiction of county/city)....Garfield is a public road...why would the apt complex or trailer park be responsible?
