Deskripsyon
Our house (115 Oakdene Ave) has a neighbor apartment complex with trees and branches that are becoming dangerous for us. Last winter, a branch fell and we had to remove it ourselves. This year, the branches are right over our roof and can damage it. We also could not get solar panels built in because of the neighbors’ trees covering our roof - the trees also prevent the sun from reaching our yard and house.
We contacted the management of the apartments and they ignored our messages. We are afraid that this fall and winter, the branches will seriously damage our house, fence or injure one of us.
Who can we contact about this problem? We cannot afford to cut the branches on our side or to cover the cost of possible damages caused by our neighbors’ trees.
Thank you

The trees in question are on private property owned by the neighboring apartment complex. This does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Shade Tree Commission as we only oversee trees in the Boro right-of-way.
I recommend that you again approach the Management at the apartment complex and will forward this to the Property Maintenance office for review.
