Thank you. I took some photos. There are at least two pails of stagnant water and there are bugs/flies now hanging around the fence. Does anyone know who I can contact to send photos? Or how to get this rectified?

Just wanted to note that the large dumpster (20 or 30 yard) was removed early this morning. But all of this debris is still on the ground

So task definitely not completed!

I have to believe this is hazardous. There was a fire, those ceiling tiles can be contaminated or something
plus the stagnant green and yellow water in buckets. And it’s all piled against my fence. The fire was at the end of May. Not sure when clean up began but the dumpster was there for at least week or more. There have been flies and gnats all over my fence so I looked over and saw this. Why wasn’t any of this thrown in the dumpster? And those three small Dumpsters there have been blocked by the bigger one so they’re not getting emptied (I usually hear the garbage truck around 4am dumping them during the week). I’m sure the other businesses in the little shopping plaza use them! The people that have been running the Brick Oven are always nice and keep the back pretty clean compared to the previous owner, so either this is the people they hired to do the clean up? Maybe they haven’t been by to see the progress (or the mess)?

Just returned home and heard voices behind my fence. They left shortly after. Seems like some stuff was cleaned up a bit. Ceiling tiles are gone except for some that are stuck due to being outside in all sorts of heavy rain lately. The two pails of water are still there - they should be removed and disposed of properly at this point because of its being stagnant water or something. Hopefully they will be back to finish cleaning up (still some random pieces of wood against the fence, and in between my fence and my neighbors that connect). Maybe they need a dumpster for those items. Or someone else to remove and dispose of - I don’t think this is wood being reused in the building. Thank you City of Bridgeport 311 for getting on this so quickly. I wish I had known about this site earlier!

Please note - one month later, the pail of green water is still sitting in the same spot, very close to my fence. They can't pick this up and remove it to dispose of properly?

Not being snarky but "they" who? The property owner who clearly doesn't care about his/her neighbors? The city who may or may not have legal standing to take such actions on private property?

Whoever did the rest of the clean up! After using this site, all the debris was cleaned up fairly well - but this bucket was left. Someone managed to get this area cleaned up, whether it was the city contacting the property owners or contacting the business owner with the fire. But it's true, property owners clearly don't care because if they had seen the original mess or checked on the property regularly, this should be taken care of. Or just plain laziness on the workers part that did the clean up. Maybe if property owners or business owners receive fines, they would be more attentive?
