Description

Clinton Avenue is a hazard to drive on! The City even painted over the potholes! Take a look at this horrible stretch of roadway.

This stretch of Clinton really says "Welcome to Lorain" better than any sign or billboard the city could put up. It is a microcosm of the entire city and signifies the importance it places on its infrastructure and the safety of its hardworking, taxpaying citizens. If I recall correctly, the road was last fixed around 1975. If I am wrong with the date, please, someone from the Lorain City Engineer's office correct me on when it was stripped down and repaved. They even paved over the 3 humps on the side of the road in the southbound lane without repairing the buckling road. Sheffield Township's stretch of Clinton is like glass compared to Lorain's. What a shame.

Why report the problem that this road is a hazard to drive on when nothing is being done
to fix it. The mayor must not live in Lorain because all main roads leading to Lorain need fixing.

they have fixed this road and when they do it is usually done so poorly that within a few months it's falling apart again. they need to do it right.

This road is terrible. What's it going to take for this road to get repaved! It's been poorly patched to many times over 30 yrs. Drivers stradle the strip down the middle of the road to avoid the craters. This is a main road leading into this part of South Lorain and folks are just fed up with the neglect that city hall has shown in this part of town.

Saw the city patch a few holes on Clinton Ave. south of E. 42nd yesterday. Unfortunatly, they either ran out of patch material or you missed some big ones around St. Lad's and Templo Bethel. Funny thing was they were in the south bound lane way past St. Lad's. How did you miss these holes. You need to come back and finish the job. At least the city's doing something. Thanks anyways.
