I find your perspective interesting. I have always had the opinion that all generalizations are inherently false. In my experience the simplest solutions to ethical and moral problems tend to miss a lot of subtlety inherent in that kind of issue. I have also never considered the government as a good guide for the morality of certain actions. Going all the way back to the formation of our nation, the government doesn’t exactly have the greatest track record for enforcing moral laws. I will take your points under consideration, it’s possible you have a better perspective than me. Thank you for your answer.
