It doesn't have GRASS, just some bushes in the landscaping that are pretty small and needs to be grown. There is only a workman's plastic bucket, 1 cardboard box and a half folded rug or something on the porch. That's not trash trash. I don't see anything invading the public sidewalk, I don't see chipped paint on the house.

You can easily see the house from the road. I don't see any violations. Just because a perfectionist wants a manicured lawn, doesn't mean everyone does. It looks nice and natural, rugged and strong kind of yard. I down vote this complaint.

I agree. It doesn't look different than all the other properties around town including all of the city and county property.

From the rest of us who have invested and continue to invest in our properties, we expect Landlords to do everything possible to reflect the integrity of the historic area. Just because it isn’t blighted does not mean that it should be allowed to deteriorate. This complaint should not be dropped.

Usually it's the renters responsibility for the yard maintenance, not the property owner who just happens to be the landlord. I don't see any extreme overgrowth in the yard. It looks like it is just a couple of weeks growth on the bushes and plants on the ground. Anyway it's pouring rain for the next week or so and you can't even cut the yards while it's wet at all. It takes several dry days before you can attempt to do anything and this property just has bushes... The reporter lied and said that it has grass. Even the plants aka weeds down low isnt grass. This is a grassless property.

Anyway the city only cuts the right of way on their property. Their bushes and trees and grass back further look worse than this property. But it's a natural earthy look. It's artistic talent for this yard.

The renters are not responsible for keeping this property up—the landlord has paid a service to do it ever since he bought the house. However, the grass in the sude and back yards and the shrubbery in the front yard have not been trimmed for several months.

Our properties are mowed every other week. Landlords are responsible for the property they own. Of the apporximately thirty properties in the block only five are not maintained well. Three of those are unoccupied. Many of us have worked for over twenty years to rebuild this neighborhood. It is not asking too much for us to want people to keep up their property.

This has nothing to do with some people being perfectionists. This is a neighborhood of people who have an invested interest, who actually live here, and in very close proximity to each other.

Neighbors are working with neighbors to improve the conditions in this neighborhood. Landlord’s, especially absentee landlords, should be aware and also concerned about the conditions. We do not live in a vacuum.

Well the city properties behind the leeways look alot worse than this one. I guess the government needs to cut their property too if they take this one up. Look at Eisenhower parkway at I 75. They only cut the leeways but they have not cut the higher areas and it looks a lot worse than this property. The city is responsible for the leeways so if there is anything over the sidewalks, it's the citys responsibility for maintenance.

Anyway it's PRIVATE PROPERTY and the constitution gives the homeowner rights to it and it's not the neighbors business to try to make a homeowner conform to the neighbors beliefs. You have been away from the forests for too long.
