Closed Pinellas County Public Works – Stormwater, Urban Forestry, Landscape Svcs & Vegetation Maintenance (Verified Official)
Thank you for notifying Pinellas County Public Works regarding previous line of sight and obstruction issues along Club Dr. Service request 66945 (SeeClickFix 6843454) will be closed for the following reasons:
1)Trees are located in unimproved easements, natural areas or other locations where pruning objectives are not necessary for safety, visibility, or safe passage. Please reference SR 1840268 for roadway clearance trimming (completed on 6/5/2019) and SR 1797029 for the removal of three chinaberry trees (completed on 9/7/2019).
2)Vegetation entering the property of Philippe Bay Condominiums is the responsibility of the affected property owner (i.e. Philippe Bay Condominiums). Please reference Florida common law on this matter.
3)Objectives of tree pruning operations performed by the Urban Forestry Section is to achieve the following within their operational area of responsibility:
A) The removal of branches that are structurally defective, decayed, dead or diseased so as to prevent personal injury and/or damage to property on Pinellas County maintained right-of-ways
B) The removal of branches necessary to maintain the appropriate spatial clearances for safe passage and use in relation to waterways, road surfaces, pedestrian paths, street lights, traffic control signs and devices, and other objects and structures located in County maintained right-of-ways.
