There will be NO Code enforcement or fines on the properties on Midway which are owned by Haltom City.

The Insider

I can understand the city is exempt from fines and enforecements (Im not looking up tad to see who owns it, if its urban blight or just plain disregard for upkeep it will get reported) but it is not exempt from doing everything possible to remove blight for the maintenance and improved quality of life for its homeowner residents (and business') so we can be proud to say this is a place to call home, not liquor stores, pawn/loan stores, overgrown weeds, dumping ground and graffiti.
I yearn for the day that I hear from other people "sure I know Haltom, they have curb appeal" and when they cross from Ft Worth or Richland or NRH that they see the difference just by crossing the border and respect it. We will get there.

If more people would make the effort like the readers of this web site our City might have a chance.

Kudos to Innocent Bystander who shows the great leadership and caring that our City needs.

Haltom City should lead by example on the property it owns.

Unforunately, I.B. there are those who profit and thrive on the less fortunate of society. The day labor exploiters, the cash loan sharks, the tote the note car lots, and the list goes on and on. They have their advocates at City Hall, hence the lack of improvement in those areas over the years.

Keep up the good work ! City Hall will have to listen. I am sending the link to SeeClickfix to all my friends in hope that hope is contagious.

Im aware New Bee. Thanks for all of that. I approached one of the code requests on here and their response was that they had connections at city hall and will never be forced to air up their tires. We have to put our faith in the Lord and our hope in our leaders to do the right thing for its citizens and not the highest paying tax revenue, thats what plaques are for.....

There is construction currently in the reported area so this has eliminated the high grass (the wild sapling trees remain) but has helped to slow the traffic and so its a good time for resolution.
