I agree!!!!!

While it is a bit ridiculous to say that no more planes can fly during certain hours, I do think that some of them fly extremely low during the early morning hours, as one wakes me up EVERY morning circa 4:00am. Not sure if they can do anything about it however...

Growing up on Air Force Bases I sleep wonderful with the Jet noises! For those of you who reside near the airport and don't like it Move! The airport wasn't built yesterday! Private Jets are owned and operated there also. OH and did I mention I work midnights (not by choice) SO I sleep during the day during all the flights. SO get over it!

You bought a house near an AIRPORT!!!

It's an airport. Guess what? Planes take off and land there. Get over it. After hours? Yeah. After hours. Dope.

This was good for a laugh today. I needed that! I hear that people who live near I-75 want the traffic to stop using it too. And people near train tracks wish they would hait service after 8pm. And when I'm on vacation... Can the ocean please stop that wave crashing noise. It's kind of annoying.

For those that comment "duh - you bought a house near the airport": you are correct. On the other hand when we bought our home (not next to the airport but several miles away) they didn't have the new extended runway where larger and noisier jets can land. We didn't have the county owned helicopter that makes multiple daily trips around the county complex. I've lived in my home for over twenty years and it is something you get use to but recently there definitively a larger number of planes in the evening and after 3 am flying lower shaking the house. And for all you bright people - there are a large number of communities around the world that have restricted hours of take off and landing including Hong Kong at one point.

OK, think of it this way: how would you like it if you bought a house next to a two-lane country road with a 40 MPH speed limit, and then, after a decade or so, they raised the speed limit to 55 MPH and suddenly semi trucks went blasting through there regularly at 4 am? You were used to the sound of the traffic before, but the trucks now wake you up. But hey, that's YOUR fault for BUYING A HOUSE NEXT TO A ROAD, right?
