说明
The east bound green light at Canal and Garfield is too short when west bound traffic is light, this is creating gridlock and dangerous conditions as drivers drive in the wrong lane.
The camera controlled traffic lights are a great concept, but they have made driving very dangerous during heavy traffic conditions.
As David said they confuse many drivers, you never really know what the oncoming lanes see.
T make matters worse, the sequence changes from morning to night. I suggest we go back to normal sequenced traffic lights during rush hours.

Timing of lights on Garfield need to be optimized so that people aren't speeding to beat lights. During peak traffic, you cannot make it through 2 consecutive lights.
This was fixed on M59, where the lights are timed such that if driving the speed limit, you will hit mostly green lights. Cuts down on speeding, frustration, cut-off's, etc.
