We live in this area of Woodbridge with our small children who attend Mawbey Street school. On our street there is an aggressive dog that goes after people. My husband was walking my 6 year old to school and it tried to go after them. Thank God another neighbor pulled up and started beeping her car horn to scare him away . The neighbor that pulled up unfortunately has to live next door to this dog in fear her girls will get attacked one day. Her husband actually got chased down by the dog escaping him by jumping his own fence to his back yard. I walk to school with my kids and an infant in a stroller and I’m very nervous. Why should the kids in this area be put at risk for irresponsible dog owners who can’t properly secure their aggressive pitbull ! We should be keeping our children safe. Authorities were called and because he hasn’t severely hurt anyone yet they just inform us if we see him out call them again. The owners aren’t even licensed to have the dog and don’t seem to care about anyone’s safety in the area.
