This road is ridiculous!!!!!! Worst I have seen in the area. If an emergency vehicle had to use this road, they would have to waste valuable time to get to the person or people who needed help!!! Unbelievable that something has not been done. Definitely needs immediate attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have looked into this problem and already reported on it. The NCDOT does not maintain the road so it is up to the developer or home owners to decide what to do. There is a process you can follow to try to ge the road taken over by the NCDOT but you will need to contact them for the details on how to do it.

The problem is actually between the Hidden Valley and Wedgfield neighborhoods. This road is horrible! I am just curious as to why someone would come in and fill in the holes on this road between the Hidden Valley and Beacon Woods neighborhoods. It would seem like common sense would tell you to take care of this entire road, not just one section of it. I would post pictures but there are just too many to even begin. Maybe someone could get a film crew out there to get a video (Wood Ridge Road, between the Hidden Valley and Wedgefield neighborhoods). This road is such a danger to drivers, walkers, runners, bikers, EVERYONE!!!

Still has not been fixed. Have petitioned for it to be a connecting road with no success.
Many cars have driven through potholes at night at a fast speed and I can hear their cars hitting the holes very loudly. One car lost their hub caps. Very dangerous. Don't know what it is going to take to get it fixed. Afraid of sink holes at this time.
