Almost a month later and still no change. Well, the couple did bring in pallets for sleeping and a large cooler or two and there is another night time camper hanging out there (the guy with the bike.) Typical Oakland behavior. Ignoring problems at one of the busiest intersections in the city and right across the street from Lake Merritt and near by a school and a church but then Oakland has a habit of ignoring problems. Maybe Quan ignored most of Oakland with her 100 block lunacy she forgot that we still exist? The city administrators should embarrassed but we all know they won't be.
I seriously thought about making a sign "Quan-Ville: Mayoral Homeless Encampment #1" and putting it up on the sign posts at Grand and Harrison. But I don't think Quan would get it.

Quannie is such a maroon (Guest)
Quannie is an embarassment to the people of Oakland, but yes, she is probably quite proud that she is turning the "crown jewel" of Oakland into an outdoor toilet and homeless encampment.
Want more homeless living in our parks? Want more thugs robbing and stealing? Want Occupy to run wild again? You know who to vote for.

Vote Quan for more crime (Guest)
Figures...Quannie has other problems, besides figuring out her next trip out of Oakland. It is reported today that Oakland is again NUMBER ONE in robberies. Second straight year. Way to go Quannie, can you go for three?
But seriously, this homeless issue is getting out of hand. I counted at least seven encampments around the lake this weekend. It is so bad even the city council members are not responding to emails on the issue.
Well, it has been over a month since this issue was first reported and still nothing is done and this is located at one of the busiest intersections in Oakland.
Want more of this? Vote Quan.
