thanks but also note there is no enclosure around these dumpsters either so no 'gate' to close. guess this is another violation. perhaps this should be referred to the county's health department if the city refuses to enforce the code and health hazard.

There is a beautification board meeting this month at Haltom. we can see how it works or if you call the community officer at the city, she can put you on the agenda with some constructive insight and ideas. I would love to know how we can assist the city without "taking it" btw Insider, I see what you mean about our comments not being published.

sorry but I don't get why a beautification committee needs to be involved when there is a health issue and garbage so evident. the city should step up and clean up this mess by issuing a citation, then more citations until the situation is resolved. I do not believe we are so desparate for business in this city that we allow politics to override such an outrageous condition.

If the hard working members of the Beautification Board were running this City we would be the envy of the entire Metroplex,
our sales tax coffers would overflow and there would be a waiting list to move IN TO Haltom City.

I pass this everyday at least 4 times and 90% of the time its cleaned up. I noticed the trash truck is not consistent on certain days. Those are small dumpsters compared to similar sized malls that use a couple 8yd

Where is the complaint driven code enforcement?
Your idea about dumpster size and pick up problems may be right on target however some resolution needs to happen. It really is not fair to enforce the law on one business and NOT the next.
The 10 percent of the time is a real mess! I pass it on the 10 percent !

City staff is well aware of this problem. It was first reported over 4 years ago. They have chosen not to enforce the dumpster screening law on this property for political reasons.

Funny thing about the dumpster screening law is that you are not , required to close the screen gate even after you build it.
There have been no improvements to this situation since the market opened.

The owners should contract to have one container dumped daily since it is large quantity raw food waste. The other container could be recyclable cardboard boxes.

Code Enforcement is monitoring this property.

I was wondering............. do these have screens on them ? Isn't there a code/ law?
