The following email was sent to the Owner/Property Manager:
"Good afternoon,
It was brought to the attention of our office that yard parking was allegedly occurring on your above property.
During today’s street patrol I confirmed that vehicles are parked on eastern-most section of lawn at this property. Per Burlington City Ordinance Chapter 20-55 (f)(1):
'It shall be unlawful for any vehicle to be parked on any lawn or yard in any area in Wards 1, 2, 3 and 8. It shall also be unlawful for any vehicle to be parked on any lawn or yard in any area in Wards 5 or 6 located north of a projected line extending along the centerline of Howard Street from the western boundary to the eastern boundary of the city. Lawns or yards are defined for the purposes of this subsection to be any open space not approved by the department of planning and zoning as an area for vehicular egress and ingress or parking.'
Please make all tenants immediately aware that they must move any vehicles to a lawful parking space (either an approved area on the property or an on-street parking space) and that vehicles found parking on lawns can be issued parking tickets with fines.
Please address this issue immediately and let me know when it has been resolved."
